Owned and operated by the Bensons, we take pride in the quality of care we offer horses and their owners. Shadow Lane Livery is located in the beautiful Niagara region situated in the quiet Hamlet of Elcho. The facility is centrally located to Smithville, Grimsby, Welland, St. Catharines, Dunnville, Cayuga and Hamilton. Starting at a young age Glenna has always been involved with horses. She has retired from showing and training and now offers a facility strictly for boarding. You may choose to bring in your own coach, ferrier or vet. Shadow Lane Livery offers a quiet serene adult facility for you to enjoy your equine friend.

Whether you are riding for fun or training for the show ring there is a large outdoor arena.  Board fencing allows a safe & quiet place to bring your horse out to play & enjoy him/her.	Shelters in each paddock offer shelter and heated troughs allows quenching of thirsts in all seasons.	The Cover All arena is 65’ X 132’ and has excellent treated sand footing.    It is very bright and large windows that open to allow lots of ventilation.  There are fans in the arena as well making it quite comfortable even on those hot days of summer.  It is lit well at night, so you can ride.
The stalls are 10 X 12 fully matted and cleaned daily.  Large windows that open are protected with grates.  Large sliding doors allow easy access for horses.  Fans are installed in the ceiling of the aisle way adding more breeze throughout the barn.	There are large grazing fields for the horses to enjoy all summer long.  Electric braid surrounds the fields to keep your horse safe.	Surrounding the 47 acres that the farm is situated on, are trails, hours of dirt roads, fields, and quiet country roads to hack on. Sit back in the saddle and enjoy the scenery and the peacefulness of your ride.
